It
was quite late when I arrived here at the outflow from Loch Dubh.
About 9.00 pm if I remember rightly. As I moved towards the edge
of the water I heard a whoosh above and looked up to see what
I could only think was an eagle zooming back up after dive bombing
me. I was later advised that it must have been a Golden Eagle
with young to protect. I watched as it flew over to the far side
of the loch and slope soured to a small spec above the craggs.
If it was indeed a Golden Eagle I can only feel honoured to have
had the close encounter.
